Bernadeinkopf

The Bernadeinkopf is a 2,143-metre summit in the Wetterstein range near Füssen, situated within the broader Alpspitze massif in Bavaria. Its main draw is the Mauerläufersteig, a via ferrata route that cuts through the mountain's steep north face — named after the wallcreeper bird that nests in the area's rock crevices. The route is considered demanding and requires via ferrata equipment and solid alpine experience. From the summit, climbers are rewarded with open views across the Wetterstein and the surrounding Allgäu Alps.
