Bir Mula Heritage

Bir Mula Heritage is an unconventional house museum tucked away in Valletta, where a single private dwelling traces roughly 12,000 years of Maltese history from prehistoric times to the present day. The experience revolves almost entirely around the curator-owner himself, who leads visitors on intimate, in-depth private tours through rooms filled with artifacts, architectural features, and locally rooted historical narrative. Opening hours are deliberately limited — Saturday mornings only, entirely free of charge, and by prior arrangement. It is the kind of place that rewards those willing to step off the tourist circuit with one of the most personal history encounters the island has to offer.
