Bockbrunnen

The Bockbrunnen is a bronze fountain dating from 1936, located in the town of Cochem on the Moselle. The origin of its name — Bock meaning billy goat in German — is not well documented, though animal and wine-related fountain motifs are common throughout the Moselle region. It is a modest piece of civic street furniture rather than a major attraction.
