Bolsterlanger Horn

The Bolsterlanger Horn is a 1,586-metre grass-covered summit in the Allgäu Alps, part of the Hörnergruppe ridge south of the village of Bolsterlang, whose local mountain it effectively is. The ascent follows open alpine meadows with no technical difficulty, making it one of the more accessible peaks in the southern Oberallgäu for hikers of all experience levels. From the top, a broad panorama stretches across the Iller valley to higher peaks including the Nebelhorn and, on clear days, the Zugspitze. Its gentle character and short approach from Bolsterlang also make it a popular winter destination for snowshoeing and sledding.
