Museum for Architectural Drawing

Private museum on the Pfefferberg site in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg, opened in 2013 and run by the Tchoban Foundation. The sculptural building by Russian-German architect Sergei Tchoban consists of five stacked, slightly twisted concrete cubes engraved with fragments of architectural drawings. Inside, three to four temporary shows per year present architectural drawings from the Baroque to today - drawn from the Tchoban collection, the Hermitage or the Albertina Vienna. The top floor offers a glazed reading and work room that hovers above the Pfefferberg courtyard like a suspended cube.
