Sunset viewpoint

Perched on the edge of Göreme, this open viewpoint looks out over Cappadocia's tuff plateau and its distinctive fairy chimneys. The most sought-after moment is early morning, when dozens of hot-air balloons drift silently across the valley in one of Central Anatolia's most iconic scenes — equally rewarding at sunset when the rock formations turn amber.
