Sunset view point

The Sunset Viewpoint sits on a hilltop at the edge of Göreme, offering an unobstructed panorama over Cappadocia's iconic tuff rock formations and fairy chimneys. It lies roughly 700 metres from the town centre — walkable on foot or reachable via the sandy access roads frequented by ATV tour groups. The hill draws a crowd at golden hour; visitors looking for a quieter vantage point can find comparably dramatic views at less-visited spots nearby. A handful of food and drink stands operate at the top, so bring Turkish Lira for both the entrance fee and refreshments.
