Tigné Point is a rocky limestone promontory at the southern tip of the Sliema peninsula, offering unobstructed views across the harbour to Valletta's skyline and the dome of St Paul's Cathedral. The shoreline rocks contain numerous fossilised sea urchins embedded in the stone — easy to spot if you look down while walking the edge. Access is free around the clock, making it a favourite local gathering spot for sunset watching. A note of caution: several drops to the sea are unprotected, and the rocks become slippery in wet weather.
