The Agglsspitze is a 3,196-metre rocky summit in the central main ridge of the Stubaier Alps on the South Tyrolean side of the range, forming part of the Aggls-Rosskopf ridge system. Unusually for an Alpine three-thousander, the exact date and party of its first ascent remain historically uncertain. The peak is an understated, unhyped summit — firn-covered on its north face — well off the beaten tourist circuits, requiring solid alpine route-finding. Those who reach the ridge are rewarded with a remote high-mountain panorama reaching deep into the Stubaier core massif.
