Andrew Rogers Open Air Sclupture Park

Perched in the rocky highlands between Nevşehir and Avanos, this remote site holds a series of monumental stone sculptures by Australian artist Andrew Rogers. The works are part of Rogers' global "Rhythms of Life" project, a series of large-scale stone installations across six continents. The park is almost entirely unmarked — many visitors glimpse the sculptures from the road below without knowing what they are, and finding the access route requires local knowledge or a lucky tip. Those who make it up, best attempted in a 4x4 vehicle, are rewarded with sweeping views across Cappadocia's tuff valleys. Some stones have been tagged with graffiti, a sign of the site's near-total lack of infrastructure or guardianship.
