Bonnefanten Museum

The Bonnefanten Museum in Maastricht is one of the Netherlands' leading art museums, pairing Old Masters with contemporary art in a single collection. Founded in 1884, it moved to its current riverside home on the Maas in 1995 — a purpose-built structure by Italian postmodern architect Aldo Rossi, instantly recognizable for its domed tower and precisely symmetrical brick facade.
