Heiligenstädter Friedhof

The Heiligenstadt Cemetery lies in Vienna's 19th district Doebling, tucked into the old wine-growers' quarter at the foot of the Kahlenberg hill. It is one of the smaller suburban cemeteries of Vienna and has kept the character of a village burial ground to this day. Stepping through the wrought-iron gate, visitors find a quiet pause from the city among weathered stone crosses and old linden trees.
