History Museum
The Museo della Civiltà Contadina documents rural everyday life in the Emilia-Romagna region across several sections, focusing on the era before agricultural mechanization. Section B forms part of this collection founded in 1975, housing tools, household objects, and craft implements that once defined peasant life in the Bolognese countryside. Classified as an Italian national monument, the museum is considered one of the most significant ethnographic records of northern Italian agrarian history. Visitors gain a concrete sense of life on the land between the 18th and early 20th centuries — a world that largely vanished within a few decades.
