Simcoe Park

Simcoe Park is a modest green space in downtown Toronto. It holds the Worker's Monument, a memorial dedicated to labour rights, and gained wider attention in 2011 when Occupy Toronto demonstrators used it as their main encampment for several weeks. Beyond that episode of protest history, it functions as a quiet neighbourhood park with few distinctive visitor amenities.
