Werner von Siemens Monument

The bronze full-figure statue of Werner von Siemens stands on a granite pedestal in front of the Technische Universität Berlin in Charlottenburg, unveiled in 1899, seven years after the inventor's death. Siemens (1816–1892) pioneered electrical telegraphy and co-founded Siemens & Halske in 1847, whose pointer telegraph became a cornerstone of 19th-century global communications infrastructure.
