Allmen
The Allmen is a forested summit in the Zürcher Oberland, rising to 1,079 metres on the territory of the municipality of Hinwil, roughly 2.5 kilometres north of the Bachtel. It also marks the highest point of the neighbouring municipality of Bäretswil. Marked hiking trails wind through mixed woodland to the top, where clear days open up views across the rolling hills of the Zürcher Oberland. With no mountain hut or developed facilities, the Allmen is a quiet, unhurried half-day destination rather than a major tourist draw — best reached on foot from surrounding villages.
