Gossler Park

Hamburg

A listed park in Hamburg's upscale Blankenese district – named after the Gossler Hanseatic banking dynasty and a testament to the villa culture on the Elbe in the 19th century.

Gossler Park is a public park in the Hamburg district of Blankenese, north of Blankeneser Landstrasse near Blankenese station. The park is named after the Gossler Hanseatic banking family, one of Hamburg's most influential merchant families in the 19th century. Listed as a cultural monument in Hamburg, it reflects the villa landscape of Blankenese, which developed as an exclusive residential area on the Elbe during the 19th century. Well-preserved trees and its peaceful, well-kept atmosphere make the park a popular local recreational area in the prestigious Elbvororte region.
