Hellenic Motor Museum

The Hellenic Motor Museum is a private car museum occupying the upper floors of the Athenian Capitol shopping centre near Vathi Square. Its collection counts 294 vehicles, about 110 of which rotate on display. Founded in 2011 by the Theodore Charagionis Foundation, it grew from the personal collection of Greek developer Theodore Charagionis. The cars span pioneering 1890s vehicles, pre-war sports cars, Formula 1 racers, American cruisers and small post-war Greek-built cars such as the Attica. Ferraris, Bugattis and Bentleys are also part of the holdings. A dedicated section traces the Acropolis Rally and Greece's motorsport history. Visitors follow a chronological route with short film clips beside each car; entry is via the atrium lifts of the Capitol Centre, and the top floor houses a cafeteria with views toward Lykavittos.
