Frankfurt Messe station

Frankfurt Messe station opened in 1999 to connect the Frankfurt Trade Fair grounds directly to the city's S-Bahn network. Constructing the central platform required significant engineering: track spacing had to be widened, a bridge rebuilt, and an adjacent road relocated. Situated in the Bockenheim district, the station handles dense flows of trade fair visitors during Frankfurt's busy exhibition weeks as well as daily commuters from the surrounding office quarter.
