Deutsche Bank Park

Deutsche Bank Park — still widely known as the Waldstadion — sits embedded in Frankfurt's city forest and holds around 58,000 spectators. Originally opened in 1925, the stadium was fundamentally transformed ahead of the 2006 FIFA World Cup, when it received a retractable roof and became a fully enclosed Bundesliga arena. Eintracht Frankfurt has written some of its finest chapters here: a DFB-Pokal victory in 2018 and the 2021/22 UEFA Europa League title, with the semifinal leg against West Ham widely regarded as one of the most atmospheric nights in German club football. On non-matchdays, stadium tours take visitors through the dressing room tunnels, catacombs, and press area, with a club fanshop at the main entrance.
