Bendergasse

From the Middle Ages until 1944, Bendergasse was one of the main streets of Frankfurt old town - densely packed half-timbered houses between the Roemerberg and the Imperial Cathedral. The air raid of 22 March 1944 wiped out the street; the New Old Town reconstruction from 2018 brought some facades back.
