Also known as: DSM
The German Spy Museum at Leipziger Platz, directly above Potsdamer Platz station, opened in 2015 as a private museum dedicated to the global history of intelligence services. The location is no accident: in divided Berlin the CIA, KGB, Stasi and BND were constantly running into each other here, the square sitting inside the no-go strip between East and West. Exhibits include Enigma machines, miniature cameras, lipstick bugs and a long section on the East German Stasi. Many stations are interactive: a laser labyrinth, lockpicking, a lie detector. It works well for families with kids around ten and up, and for anyone who wants to see Berlin history from an unusual angle.
