Joseph Scicluna

The Joseph Scicluna Memorial stands in the Mall Gardens of Floriana, a manicured park just outside the walls of Valletta. It commemorates Giuseppe Scicluna (1811–1888), one of 19th-century Malta's most prominent bankers and merchants, whose founding of the Scicluna Bank laid an early cornerstone of the island's financial system.
