Ziyaret Dede in the village of Menekşe near Adana is a local Islamic pilgrimage shrine dedicated to a venerated holy man known as Ahmet Dede. Ziyaret sites — literally 'visitation places' — are deeply embedded in Anatolian folk religiosity: visitors come to recite prayers, seek intercession, and pay respects at the resting place of someone considered close to God. The site underwent restoration at some point, though visitor accounts note that the surrounding area remains poorly maintained with litter. The elevated position reportedly offers a notable view over the surrounding landscape.
