Frankfurt (Main) Ost station

Frankfurt (Main) East station serves regional rail in the Ostend district and operates one of Frankfurt's two remaining freight yards, after the former central freight yard was closed. Its container terminal is run by Deutsche Umschlaggesellschaft Schiene-Straße (DUSS). Directly adjacent lies the historic Frankfurt Osthafen — the eastern river port opened in 1912 and now repurposed as an events and culture venue. The station is not wheelchair accessible.
