Kızılvadi Foto Noktası

Kızılvadi — Red Valley — is a quiet canyon on the edge of Göreme in the heart of Cappadocia, named for the iron-rich tuff that turns copper-red in the late afternoon light. At the upper end of the valley sits a Byzantine cave church with frescoes dating to the 10th–11th centuries, barely signposted and rarely crowded. A small local café at the photo-point plateau serves hikers and riders — horseback is one of the most popular ways to reach the valley floor. The combination of striking volcanic geology and early medieval rock-cut church art makes this one of the quieter, more rewarding corners of the Göreme National Park.
