Centenary Stadium

Centenary Stadium in Attard sits immediately next to the larger Ta Qali National Stadium and functions mainly as a training and youth-development venue for the Malta Football Association. Opened in 1999 to mark the 100th anniversary of the MFA, which gives it its name, it hosts matches of the Malta U-21 team and the womens national team, as well as Maltese Premier League and First Division games. The MFA headquarters and a conference hall are part of the same complex. The stadium is modestly sized - about 3,000 seats - so it is not a tourist destination, but it is a central piece of Maltese football infrastructure.
