Blanc de Moming

Blanc de Moming is a 3,661-metre summit in the Walliser Alps, belonging to the municipality of Anniviers and situated near the broader Zermatt alpine region. It rises above the Moming glacier basin, wedged between the Zinalrothorn and the Weisshorn in one of the Swiss Alps' most dramatic four-thousander landscapes. The ascent is a genuine high-alpine route requiring glacier travel experience and appropriate equipment — this is not a waymarked hiking trail. Those who reach the summit are rewarded with an uncrowded panorama sweeping across the Valais giants, from Monte Rosa and the Matterhorn to the Weisshorn.
