Blinnenhorn

The Blinnenhorn is a 3,373-metre summit in the Leone Group of the Swiss Alps, sitting southwest of the Nufenen Pass. Its ridge marks the national border between the Swiss canton of Valais and the Italian province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, so reaching the top places you in two countries at once. The ascent is a demanding high-alpine route involving firm snow and glacier sections, suited to experienced mountaineers. The summit offers an unobstructed panorama stretching south into Piedmont and north across the Valais four-thousanders.
