Aiguille de l'A Neuve
SummitMountaineeringSolitude
The Aiguille de la Tsa is a striking rock needle rising to 3,668 m in the Swiss canton of Valais, set along the ridge dividing the valleys of Arolla and Ferpècle. Its slender, pointed silhouette makes it one of the most recognizable features of the Val d'Hérens skyline. Reaching the summit is a serious alpine undertaking, requiring competence on mixed rock and ice — it is not a hiking objective but a mountaineering one. Those who do make the ascent are rewarded with unobstructed views across the Hérens glacier system toward the high peaks surrounding Zermatt.
