Mosta Valley

Mosta Valley is a largely undeveloped natural gorge in central Malta, close to the famous Mosta Rotunda. Remnants of historic fortifications line parts of the valley, tying it to Malta's broader defensive landscape. The terrain is rough and uneven — sturdy footwear is essential, and the route can be difficult in winter months.
