Seyhan Belediyesi Prf.Dr. Metin Sözen Kudebevi

This three-storey late-Ottoman building in Adana's Seyhan district is roughly 125 years old and named after Prof. Dr. Metin Sözen, a prominent Turkish architect and heritage politician. Its most distinctive feature is the cornice frieze, which carries a Quranic inscription alongside the original construction date — a decorative convention common on Ottoman civic buildings of the era. Today the structure serves as an administrative seat for heritage preservation decisions rather than a public museum, and is closed on Sundays. It is best appreciated from the street, where the inscribed roofline is clearly visible.
