Birgisch

Birgisch is a small mountain village on the sunny terrace above Naters in the Swiss canton of Valais, situated at around 1,000 metres above sea level. Part of the municipality of Naters, it serves as a quiet base for hiking and climbing in the surrounding alpine landscape. The village itself is modest — its appeal lies in its elevated position overlooking the Rhone valley rather than in any particular built heritage.
