Malta Postal Museum

The Malta Postal Museum occupies a baroque building at 135 Archbishop Street in Valletta's historic centre, operated by MaltaPost since its opening in June 2016. Its collection traces the island's postal history back to 1570, when the Knights of St John established one of the earliest organised mail systems in the Mediterranean, continuing through British colonial rule to modern times. A Victorian-era postbox on the third floor and an extensive stamp collection are among the highlights, while short documentary films give context to the exhibits.
