Fiesch railway station

Fiesch railway station is a stop on the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn in the Goms valley of Canton Valais, sitting at roughly 1,050 metres in the upper Rhône valley. It primarily serves as the departure point for the cable car up to the Eggishorn, which offers direct views over the Aletsch Glacier, the largest ice field in the Alps. For travellers passing through, it is a straightforward interchange on the route toward Andermatt or Zermatt.
