Oberursel (Taunus) station

Oberursel (Taunus) station sits at kilometre 15.3 of the Frankfurt–Homburg line at 189 metres altitude on the southern Taunus slope. In service since 1860, it is today an S-Bahn line S5 stop. A railway curiosity: the former Taunus mountain railway to Hohemark, which once departed from beside this station, has since been incorporated into the Frankfurt U-Bahn network as line U3.
