Il-Ponta tal-Marbat

Il-Ponta tal-Marbat is a rocky coastal promontory on the edge of Valletta's Grand Harbour area, offering open views across the Maltese shipyard and a working industrial port. An old watchtower sits on the headland but is closed to visitors. A short walk from the main road leads over characteristic Maltese limestone to the cliff edge — the sea scenery is genuine, though a nearby power plant and large moored gas tankers dominate much of the surrounding panorama.
