Istanbul offers more green space than its dense skyline might suggest. Gülhane Park, nestled at the edge of the old palace grounds, and Emirgan Park stretching along the Bosphorus provide calm retreats within the city. The Çamlıca Tower sits atop one of Istanbul's highest hills, affording broad views over the wooded slopes and waterways below. Along the Bosphorus, the stone walls of Rumeli Hisarı rise against a backdrop of riverbank greenery. Even Beyazıt Square and the Eyüpsultan Cemetery are shaded by mature trees, while the grounds near Miniatürk show how parks and history sit side by side throughout the city.
